On behalf of the staff and faculty, I welcome you and your child(ren) to KES. Please visit, volunteer or attend our programs and events. KES has a veteran staff. I want your child(ren) to be enthusiastic about learning. I will provide academic and emotional support for your child(ren). You'll hear more about such events as Read Around the World, Science Fair, the Battle of the Books, Dr. Seuss's Birthday Bash, the Media and Technology Fest, Success Maker, Math, and many more. I encourage you to assist us as we attempt to meet the challenge of providing excellence in educational opportunities. |
In twenty years, 80% of the present day jobs will not exist. Our economy and lives are rapidly changing. Thus, according to futurist Harry Dent Jr., schools will be emphasizing math calculation, thinking skills and reading comprehension. Together we need to help give our children specific skills: self-management, interpersonal understanding, creative problem solving, and project design. It is only through this mutual cooperation that we can ever hope to succeed in our school and as an entire nation. Please know that our parent volunteer force is a critical facet in our being able to provide the best for our students. Please come join us!
